The short version

Felt collects no personal data. There is no account, no email, no name, no KYC. We do not have a server that stores who you are, because there is no "we" in the custodial sense — Felt is an ownerless protocol you interact with directly from your wallet.

What stays on your device

The reference client saves a few preferences in your browser's local storage — your selected chain, felt theme, card deck, sound, and similar settings, plus your play-money chip balance. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server. Clearing your browser storage removes it.

What is public by design

Poker on a public blockchain is transparent by construction. Your wallet address and your on-chain actions (joining a table, settling a hand, withdrawing) are recorded on the public ledger and are visible to anyone. This is not data we collect — it is the nature of a permissionless, verifiable protocol. If you want stronger address privacy, use a fresh wallet address or standard on-chain privacy tooling.

Network providers

To read and write to a blockchain, your client connects to RPC endpoints and a peer-to-peer relay for signaling. Those third parties can observe your IP address and request patterns, as with any website or web3 app. We do not control their policies. If this concerns you, use a VPN or your own RPC node.

No tracking

The reference frontend uses no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. Any usage measurement, if present, is aggregate and non-identifying. We do not sell data, because we hold none.
